Owwww, she's so fair...

When Night Is

when the night is new

who strikes a light on mystic tinders

cinders ignite in fulminous glowers

meteoric showers fireworks a cross-hatchling sky

the touch of your hand, the look in your eye

when the day shines through.

Once I would have held you close

closer still as the willow dreaming by it's own reflection

mirror spill itself again upon her ivory shoulder glades

circlet hours rise up from some dewy emerald shades,

where the clock slips it's hands and plays

musical scores on quicksilvery notes aquiver

movements define to perceive your frame's the river

I feel something deep affecting all this sleepy blue

when the Night is new...
