SETTLE DOWN

Travel, travel and travel some more.
We have a hard time to settle down for sure.
Our roots are loose, we've broken our core.
Are you afraid to drown in the everyday bore?

Let's hurry on, no time to rest.
Life's become a worldwide test.
To the north, the east, the south and to the west.
And now you can't find your way back to the nest.

How come we cannot feel satisfied?
Though life's become a worldwide ride.
Everything is illuminated, there's nowhere to hide.
It's time to collect the tears that we've cried.

Try to exhale, time has come for settling down.
Find your roots, find your town.
Leave this alienating, malignant frown.
And settle, settle, settle down!

I know this poems feeling well Daybreaker, but I am a gipsy at heart and doubt I will ever stop the wandering. In youth, it broadens the mind imo. Smiling at you, Tai

Kathy Lockhart
extremely good advice poetically written. Sometimes we try to find our happiness outside ourselves by moving. The irony of this is sometimes our unhappiness comes from within and we take ourselves wherever we go.
