Blantantly Honest, I guess!!!

Stand and Hide

There is a chemistry here, isn't it?,
I know you and you know me, somewhat?,
We're better actors than we are real people nowadays,
And from that, we make it harder not only to be honest to each other,
But to ourselves as well,
Feelings are natural and eternal,
But also made to over-ridden when needed,
And it's from this, I have to start to plead,

There will be times of uncertainty,
There will times of foolishness,
But through all of this,
I need you to be honest,
I need you to be there,
I ask for no commitments,
Just for an answer to this plea,
Where we go from here,
Is up to us and no one else,

Expression is something I use, good and bad,
Just like my words, and so do you,
But beyond this, I hope we know who we are to each other,
Yes, an understanding between the right and the reason,
You have a right to have love,
But it gives no reason why not to give love as well,
It's tough to say, and even harder to express,
Maybe it's the words, the body language, or just the stare,
All I ask is to bear with me, and meet you at the other side of the bargain,

The hidden truth lies everywhere we stand amongst each other,
We just never want to let it show,
And when we do, it's at a point of defense, not offense,
Unless we do offend, but however,
There is a right to be together,
There is a reason for us,
Bearance and even Forebearance,
This is something, I hope our portrayals choose not to defer,

The dancer moves without a trace,
