Friends

Just hold on buddy,
You're just about to see,
The demons unleashed,
From deep within me.

These people that say,
They are my friends,
Are just looking for suckers,
That's where their relationship ends.

They're always bitching,
So I just turn around,
So I don't wind up knocking,
Flat out on the ground.

So the moral of this story,
Is quite plain to see,
If making money is friendship,
There will be no friends for me.

Good words Justin. I like them. (I don't visit Poetbay so often these days, but it's good to see you here when I do.)
