For the ones who talk aloud and say nothing!!!!
Don't sing to me, talk to me
We are running out of time,And reckoning has come to us at last,
You cannot have it all,
And not sow or watch others sow,
What happened to the answers of the questions,
We say, think and feel,
I guess they stand alone,
As we run from them,
Over and over again,
The troubles has cornered us,
And no light will be shown, unless,
Until we face what we have become,
A victim of all the things we "want",
And neglected the things we "need",
The path,
The direction,
And finally, the truth,
You say "enough",
You say "defend",
It's so hard to see what you say,
Make it plain to the ones,
Who are still deciding,
But at the same time,
We, as a people,
Must face the truth about ourselves,
Are we too scared of losing what we want?,
Or are we too scared of facing what we need?,
And that is, finally accountability,
A bail-out is fine,
Only effective if you understand the mistake,
And move on from there,
If not, who are we really fooling?,
The ability to know when to stop the fight,
Is a lot harder than actually trying to start one,
There, only so-called "thrill" is the during,
Once year, we use a day to find the direction,
And everytime we look, we see,
Either the wrong way or angry cross-guards,
Once again, we won't face the truth,
And the truth is,
That we face what we are,
And what we have become,
Full of words, full of excuses,
Staying together for no fee,
There are struggles to overcome,
And there will be no break for the extra mile,
For the only true benefit is that the basics,
Will make us whole again,
As Americans, we are true fighters,
True rebels,
But we also knew when "enough" is enough,
And when freedom is not and never will be "free",
Just don't sing to me anymore,
Just talk to me, please,
The dancer moves without a trace,
