Untrodden Path

Memories made,
Just you and me,
Unseen,
Along this untrodden path.

How many soles
Stepped here before ?
How many souls
This untrodden path ?

The whispering trees,
What secrets they hold,
The stories they keep,
Will remain untold.

Words are written,
Unspoken are few,
The secrets within us,
The secret's with you.

My life is open,
My soul displayed,
Feelings exposed,
Never to fade.

Secrets unfurl,
True and new,
Told to no-one,
Told to few ?

Words of anger,
In the past,
Said in a moment,
Never to last.

Our souls are living,
Only trees can see,
This life and the next,
We know we'll be.
