Imminent Immortality

With a beautiful scarf 'round her neck and the wind blowing through her soft hair
..She begins walkin' down the shore feelin' the warmth of sand and breeze of cool air
Ever-so-long lasting rollin' waves never cease to end
..For they remind her of friends who follow her till they blend

Walkin' down she gazes at the sight of rocks which lay silently besides the shore
..They bring back thoughts of obstacles and troubles that she once bore
Birds flying across the sky chirp aloud in glory at her sight
..She laughs ecstatically for the joy of happiness sinks and washes away her plight

Shells scattered 'ross the shore whilst she walks pass them remind her of nature's beauty
..While they remind me of her true friendship which I cherish so dearly
Old folks are singin' songs of love and joy while selling postcards to strangers
..Sad is the thought of seeing her leave for they make us all dreamers

A gust of wind blows suddenly across the shore scattering the sand away
..I hope she realizes that it will only be a moment 'til it passes by the bay
From crossroads to the freeway our ideas seem to meet as they should
..Everything I think she thinks it just as good

The sight of sunset at dawn makes her feel the evenin' is over
..Happiness is the feelin' that I wish is always wrapped 'round her
In all eternal walks of life I hope she always succeeds and remains firm
..Cuz there's no one to beat her or defeat her and that I'll always affirm
