True

Runnin' my mind in the glow of her brown eyes
..Reminds me of the bliss of the clear blue skies
Although she tries her best to keep conceal her secrets
..Little does she realize how I want her to break out of the closets

I rememb'r the day when we met for the best
..It amazes me how she always seemed so at unrest
Even though I tried to make her look out the window
..She ceased to realize all I wanted to see was her glow

I can tell that she's torn between mixtures of feelin's of her mind and her heart
..For in her writings I can see somethin' beyond art
Everything in life changes and runs away so I hope she does what she must do
..And someday she'll get all the happiness that is due

Funny is the feelin' sometimes to just sit seeing her so quiet
..But then I think and realize the colors of her potrait
I write with my mind and and try to be at rest
..But the thought of seeing her upset drives me away from the best

Darkness lays itself all noon
..I see the reflection of her smile beyond the golden spoon
She's got what it takes for her to go places
..I can assure her that she's gonna be on top of all aces
