Self-Portrait

Wanderin' down the hill the sky o'er began caressing the mind
Whilst beauty was carving lines in the mirror of the blind..
The colors of the rainbow melts itself so divine
For a captivating smile unwraps itself in the wake of moonlight..

Walkin' down the road of dust marks footprints left behind
Leaves an abyss deep inside makin' feelings hard to find..
Charms and spells fly around with grace
Stop the run down the road headin' with another face

She opened up her door one day and greeted me with a smile
"Walk me down the road", she said and made my day worthwhile..
"Fire in my soul", I thought would give her a spotlight
By the end I realized that I did have words to rewrite.."
