I hope I don't offend anyone with this.
I woke up from a drean with this in my head so I wrote it down.


Blood is dripping [A life draining away]

Blood is dripping
into a red pool onto the floor,
The pool is spreading with each drip
blood begins seeping out
underneath the locked bathroom door.

Inside a model is lying
unconsicious in the bath,
her slit wrist hanging over the white edge
an anorexic figure -
that couldn't succumb to the industry's pressure anymore -
another life draining away
with every drop of blood that falls to the floor.

She thought her only option left
was if she died
she believed no-one would miss her,
but she's left her problems for others
and a family wondering 'why?'
is forever left behind to cry.

Blood is dripping
into a red pool onto the floor,
a note left behind
"I'm sorry -
I just could not take it anymore".

to be in a state of mind..and to come to such dispair..to feel the pain to ease what life is..as when someone feels to end ther life they feel that if they just hurt themselves and let the life drain they feel they are easing the ones they love,,,well written my friend

...Liz, this is intense. So vivid a picture of such a tragic event. It has an excellent flow and the woords you use are certainly rich...a lot of sense in them, a lot of feeling and emotion too...very well written...

Yes, it is a hard thing to pathom.
I can only pray for those who suffer from these phases of extreme depression to take their lives.
May God give them the strenght to face their anguish and prevent them from taking this extreme measure!
