The battle and the love - - - co writing with KJC

A man cried out his heart
as his beloved long away
blamed him leaving family with child

Courage strengthened their arms,
in the heat of the battle warring
love inside beating, sounding an alarm.

Thoughts raging in mind, heart and soul
Exploding land mines on the fields
Thoughts warred his members, bodies cold

Struggling, bravely they fought
strengthening each other
courageously marching forward.

Losing one eye in battle wounds
his war ended in the heart within
returned home with love to be with his kin.

Tormented with the guilt and harm
leaving his loved ones behind,
linked in courage they bravely shined

But the winds were chancing
and the war was ending . . . the life
was growing and love awakening

He told her his thoughts, his behaviour.
Dragging him from his family
the end was telling that so many...

Brave hearted men who go out in battle
was only the feelings of anger and lust
so now they live together in trust

And the battle was ended
love is to forgive
let the trust make a dust

- To forgive once again

Hi Dan, I forgot about this as I deleted so much of my work.
Thanks for the repost and reminding me of the fun we had in writing it.
