Almost Titanic
A physicist in Switzerland can break apartThe universe, and watch its little pieces
Trace their paths across a cloudy screen.
An engineer can build a bridge, a carpenter
A house. A judge can tailor laws to suit her
Tastes, however they may read. You ask me
What a poet does. He sits inside a little room,
And bullies words, believing that his efforts
Show him capable of all these other things.
