Succession
It's unfair to say she is second-best,A pretty, young thing with her girlish
Long hair, and a bit too much make-up.
Her glossy lips are mine, and her mind?
It's a work in progress, clearly acute,
But not too full, but she's here, up against
Me, and makes it apparent she plans to
Stay. I intend to keep her. The one I most
Loved, being distant and silent, cannot be
Best anymore.
