You Own The Sky



Yes, it has been quite a while
since you have had reason to smile
despite what people say, YOU ARE CLEVER!
so please on life give up never.

Unprepared into life you are thrown
but please know that you're not alone
in this world so crazy you have a friend
someone who'll walk with you until the end.

People can be mean and bad
try with words to make you sad
but you can HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH
because your kind spirit owns the sky.

So wherever you are,
let the sun shine
and know I'll hurt any
who hurt friends of mine.
