I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote this... but turned out pretty good/fun ^^

A dip in your soul

I admire the perseverance with which you pursue
I wake up one morning with the grass and it's dew
Back then everything was different, if only I knew...

Surrounded by crimson water
This turned out to be a slaughter
All I did was take one sip
And it sent me on a trip
I wanted to take a dip

A dip in your soul
But I'm drowning
Was this your goal?
Your counting

I cry for help as I draw my last breath
One last time I can see the grass, it's still dewy
You know I'm facing death
But you refuse do throw me a life buoy...

i LOVE the title of this poem :O ... its absolutely breathtaking, and it definitely caught my eye...the poem has an delayed, soothing characteristic about it,and i like the fact that you make it draw out ... 'a dip in your soul...' well done.
