A Demanding Woman

A challenge was offered
A task of love
An exposure of self.
You accepted.

With staggering ease and grace
The vessel was filled
With images of beauty
And song.

However,
Unlike athletes of Olympus
You're not allowed to rest
On your laurels.

Better a woman that demands love than one who is coy and wheedling.

To be truly romantic, the human male must not rest, no matter how weary; settling into a predictable routine in which the significant other feels taken for granted is ANATHEMA to romance! From this standpoint, to be a real woman is to be demanding indeed, no?

The natural athlete makes it look so easy! I suppose that is the difference between loving what you do, and loving laurels.
Fine writing Nancy

Momentarily impressive? yes.
Sustainably loving... only time will tell. That is the risk.

I love your succinctness and clarity in this.

Great job!
