Forever
I beg you, Jill, to tell your friend that the Earth,In its orbit, seems steady and true, and the
Stars in the sky, and the sky itself, are nearly
Eternal, always there, and the faces of mountains,
The passage of seasons, the tides of the oceans,
Are sure to persist when we cannot perceive them,
And that, though I loved her, I won't again, long
As I live.
