Finishing a thought

There is Only One Marilyn

In the distance of life
There is only one Marilyn
Whose troubled smile
And Curves of desire

Masked a child playing
Pretend cinema fantasies
That never matched reality where
Tiffany's does not serve breakfast

The unbridled through bred filly
Is Never meant to be ridden
A wild enigma
One should never attempt to love

Yet There is always one
Who does not understand
That a meteor sears
All in its path With chaotic intensity

There is always one
Not consumed by Its super nova heat
Who has no fear Of their own mortality
While they sense the scent of flesh searing
There is always one
caught in the addiction of adrenalin
While the vortex of emotion
Consumes everything around them

Caught in the storms eye
There is peace for a moment
Bliss for a second
Awaiting the last scene
