MY FOUTCHER WORK ON WW1
My foutcher work will be '' work in progress ''. As I will be working on my story/poems. Fore I have strong hopes some will be published. As 2014 will be the 100th anniversary of the beginning of WW1. Locally ( Thanet ) a meting was held to dingus what should be dun. It will not be a celabrashan , but a remembrance. I hope my work will be a part in the remembrance.WW1 , gave much more than it took away. It gave a sence of nationhood to Australia , New Zealand and Canada (Canadian war dead lay in my local cematrey).
The Irish ( the South ) , gained , won , there independence from the British Empire.
The advance of woman gained so much ground , truly advanced. Gained the vote , suffrage. Saw the end of employment as servants , vertically servitude. With so many men away at THE WAR . Factory were woefully short of labour , so industery had no choice no opshan but to employ woman to take the place of the men at war. Also the better educated woman found work in offices. So one job discripshant , began to wither away. That word- clerks , replasede by secrety and typist. In 1914 90 95% those working in office's were men.By 1918 that percentagem was completely reversed. And never change back. Unlike industry , factory's. When the men came back the woman had to give way to the returned men. Woman had replasde men as tram , buses and ticker collectors , known as '' clipy's'' as they clipped the tickets. Woman replaced the postmen and postal sorters. But come 1918 and the end of the war , woman lost these's jobs.
But a quote of Lenin is good fore all that: '' Three steps forward , two steps back'' . Though the woman lost so much of there gained freedoms. Woman had had a taist, and gues what they liked the taist!.
Come WW2 , woman regained the freedom there mothers had enjoyed. They were were loose it never again. WW2 gave woman so much I E woman had postians that put woman in charge of men. Woman became exsepted to whear trousers , overalls at first , then trousers , slacks , became fashionable. Woman never looked back from then!
With so many who did to come back. So many children grew up with out fathers. So they were with out control of fathers. From this the children had a new freedom. Boy friend and girl friend came into being. Fashan fore the young , boys no loger dreast as like clones of there fasthers , dulters wore prity much as they chose. Espshley those of the middle and upper classes of Britian. A new age had began.
In the U S A , Canada the woman were to expreancse simuler as there British and Fench counter parts. When the U S A enterde WW2 , woman replasde the men in the workforse. A good film I recomend to teel the story of one woman is '' The Dole Maker '' with Jane Fonder. Jane Fonders part , not a femanist or simalar. A woman who experansde life at work. Well let the film tell the story.
Well as you can see I have much to write about. Though my work will be about WW1. When The British lost there inasance there nievaty.
