Another Hemisphere, Another Megan
Who knew a hemisphere away another’d bearThe name of one who left me shattered long ago,
And she’d affect me similarly? How I search
Her shining eyes and crave the lips which part
To pull me closer every time she speaks, and
How I grieve to know again that, in another
Day or so, this second, as the first had done,
Will slip my grip, my heart in hand, to live,
Not miles this time, but a half a world away.
