Carnival II

Just Curious

I saw a poster
tattered, torn, worn, like me.
It said
"Carnival for The Curious"

I go to the park
the Carnival
long gone

Litter flows in the wind
I am cold
It's dark
I am alone

Then
I hear noises
an organ
a round-about
A voice
"Come with us, join The Carnival,
you are one of us"

A hand reaches out
from nowhere
I take it.

I am now part of the Carnival
but warm
accepted

Here
take my hand
join us

whatever you are
you are not alone

Just Curious

Commentally Ill
when they say that curiosity killed the cat, and then you write the second carnival piece rather than your cat and put the word curious in the title, i tend to worry. is marmite okay?
