A STRANGER APPEARED

The stranger , was walking , about to pass on bye

When the stranger saw somert out of the corner of the eye

A sound , a cry , rang a bell , the stranger , stopde in mid step

Turned around , retraced the steps taken found what had court the eye and ear

Crouched down and smiled , '' anything I can do fore you '' , the stranger said

The two talk to each other , like old friends

As they talked , the world went about it's way , hithering and dithering

Not troubled by the sounds of crying , the loud sobbing

The stranger sat down , offered tissues , and listened , spoke when it what was

Needed

Those , hurrying bye , looked , only when the crying had stopped

Replaced by the sounds laughter , then the hurry's , stopde and ask each other

'' Just what are they laughing at? '' , '' Are they laughing at us? ''

The stranger , no longer a stranger , now a friend

And it's true that most would pass on by, without asking what's the matter..... but would openly stare at laughter, and wonder at the source.

I love these of yours, Ken. Your writes about strangers becoming friends have such a nice, warm feel to them. Much enjoyed! :)
