This is for my wedding day November 7, 2014

The Rose

There are many colors of roses, but I chose certain ones to show Sandra how I feel about her.

The red rose symbolizes love.  It is the ultimate symbol of romantic love and enduring passion.  It also conveys respect and the creative spirit of love.  Representing true love stronger than thorns, the red rose is known universally as the lover's rose.

The white rose represents humility, purity, and innosence, and it is often referred to as the bridal rose.  It is associated with young love.  It also symbolizes truth and reverence.   It sends a message of loyalty and says "I am worthy of you."

The pink rose symolizes gentility, feminity, elegance, and refinement.  The pale shades of pink cannote grace and gentleness, admiration and happiness.

The lilac and purple roses are almost mystical in nature, with symbolism tied to enchantment, desire and even proceeding cautiously.  It is not surprising that lilac and purple roses send a message of love at first sight.

These are the ones I chose for Sandra on our wedding day, because they all represent how I feel about her.
