Almost a Fairy Tale
It's as if she's enchanted. I'm notCertain how the process goes. She's
Beautiful, a ballerina, sweet as
Watermelon, smart, yet seemingly
Content to be the sovereign of my
Paltry heart. She dotes on her one
Lowly subject, says in fact I rule
Her. I've never ruled anyone,
So I'm convinced she's been
Enchanted, though, by whom,
I cannot know, and, for how long,
I wonder, unsure how the process goes.
