cold days

woke up this morning,
pillow stiff
and soaked with blood and tears,
wine stained sheets

half a pot of coffee later,
head filled
with etymology and philosophy

hot beverages on cold days;
it rained all day today,
off and on –
cold and wet floridian days

no one to sing "bésame mucho" to

"Besame ... Besame mucho. Como si fuera esta vez, la ultima vez ..." Sing it anyway ...It's such a great old song. I remember morning like that when I was in college,, and the coffe helps, the entomoly and philosophy can too, I guess. I enjoyed reading this
