Unreasonable
Reason's overrated, even wrong. We're both aware of that.
The classroom's tidy formulations
Let the brain believe it understands
What swirls all around, when it can't
Even know itself, and, thus, the wars
Which should be won are lost, the
Perfect social systems turn to jails
Or fall apart, and all of those who
Grub for money run at once toward
A single place to learn they've lost
Their shirts, while you and I
Irrationally find ourselves again
Together, making idle conversation,
Happier in doing that than anything
That reason, which has told us
We should stay apart, would
Dictate that we do.
