Rob, I hope you don't mind if I post an old poem in response. I couldn't think of anything better to say:

The Body Politic

The sensitive soul
has an out of body experience,
a shadow

taking leave of its corporeal host,
sly in its nonchalance—
'excuse me while I touch the sky.'

On the loose
the sensitive soul
experiences life sans avoir du pois,

exposing the senses
to the pungent and raw
and passes no judgment.

The corporeal host, at a loss,
votes Republican.

the trouble with views is, that we all have them - just some have better views than others - and some just have sledgehammer logic that imposes views :-)

Republican logic is screwed up anyway.

If someone is trying to use a logic for something they want, they can use an illogical argument and call it a logical one, but those who can think should be able to separate real logic from untrue logic. That's why each person should think on their own each so called 'logic' they hear and not believe just because someone says it is. Critical thinking.
