Getting The Dodge Out

A strange disturbing vision came to this man in a dream.

A close friend who happened to drive an old Dodge lived in a less than ideal situation.
"It's not so bad really, one gets used to being used to it."
"Okay, but you should get the Dodge out of Hell."
"I really can't leave, you see?"
"There's only one road here and it goes in an endless circle forever leading back to from where it started."
"Yes I see, no dodging that!"

Ha ha, very good. No matter where we go we always find ourselves there. Sorry that's a bit irrelevant and silly. But this story is clever :)
