Now me old man - my dad - fatherHe liked - loved me to call him mate
We talked often talked
He gave me advise - suggestions
Some times I'd take his advice
Some times I did not - tried out his
Suggestions - gave them ago
Some times dad was right
Some times he was wrong
I had my own road to go down
Dad - know that
My old man was a good parent
A good dad - a good mate to me
