Where Star Pools Glow

Within this dream where the star pools glow
With fields of rain, with files of snow
There is a world where once we knew
Another life, a moment through
Our eyes were bright as looking glass
With dreams walking on blades of grass,

(The Light burning bright in shadow lands
The Heavens were right inside our hands)

Outside The Night kept sentinel an Age
Transpired just as we were turning the page

Our Book like Life was read and closed
Sentenced by a paragraph posed

By Love, our hearts took flight and left
This place of of hurt of wounding weft

With dreams walking on blades of grass
Our eyes were bright as looking glass
Another life, a moment through
There was a world where once we knew
With fields of rain, with files of snow
