No Need to Voice What's Obvious
We haven't said we love each other.I don't think we ever will, though
I can't stand a day without you.
When you're near but not in sight,
You draw me like a magnet
Would a tiny scrap of steel.
I have to know how you've been
Doing, have to see the face I find
More beautiful than anything,
And you, so fearful someone will
Discover us, and filled with guilt,
Can't turn away this man, who
Only makes your life more difficult.
The words don't come, and that's
All right. They have a certain
Hollowness. The deeds, I think,
More eloquently tell the way
We feel.
