The Message of Deliverance

Her life had been so disappointing
one disappointment after another
The life she had been living was totally
empty
Service had already begun
and the preacher was delivering the message
when she quietly walked into the church
She had a bible in her hand and she held it
close to her heart
She paid close attention to the words of the sermon
because the words had so much meaning for her
She ran up to the pulpit
and gave the preacher her hand
He anointed her head with holy oil
then she began to weep uncontrollably
She had been touched so deeply by his message of
Deliverance!
The sermon aroused her spirituality
more than anyone in the church before she arrived
hearing this sermon of Deliverance

A very emotional moment for this person, and one she must have needed desperately to hear at the moment. There are moments like that in our lives when someone allows us to feel all that has been pent up for a long time.
