Temperature dropping - nip in the airEvenings drawing in - nights longer and longer
Days shorter and shorter
Frost - greetings come morning
Fulling leaves - dancing - with the breeze
Children - giggling - as they kick around the leaves
Splashing - in the puddles - some in Welles - some
Not attired - mums - dads - '' NOW stop that! ''
To no avail - no response - more giggle's - the only response
Hot chocolate - hot soups - drinks of choice - winter no far off
Summer - a distancing memory - spring along - way a way
For some - depression - sets in
A time of reflecting - on the past - wondering what will be - or not
Shops showing Xmas - Christmas cards - playing endless songs - music
Of the later season - coming
It's that time of year.
