Never been strong enough

Never been strong enough to
let you see my tears
Never been strong enough to
allow myself being weak
So I kept a good face
to a hopeless game,
faking indifference
to be my middlename
-in the name of pride-
'cause pain is a thing
I always kept inside
Not letting sorrow
shine through my eyes
and every time
I almost couldn't hold it
I turned my face away
and sent these tears
to the silent ground,
suffering alone
in the name of pride
'cause I never been strong enough
to show you my weakness-
