RETURN HOME

You step off the plane with a smile
see you, it's been a while
I run to your embrace
You are my saving grace
I have dreamt of this day for so long
Counting the days that you have been gone
You kiss me gently and long
I look in your eyes and see your pain
Wonder what your thoughts are in your brain
My only wish was for you to return home
I can see how much you have grown
Return home to your families love
Just remember you did something that we are all proud of
