Dying To Love

2009-07-29
only a lover could have written this.
and as soon as we become lovers we become vulnerable to so many things.
of course they are all quite worth it...
especially if they are nice...
us poets are open to so many things
...even losses stack up values.

Site Info June

we all have things to do i know.
but if you are accepting money from people in receipt of a service I'm afraid "too busy" will not do.
If you are too busy to attend to us please say so up front.
This attitude of taking the money and run just enough to keep people quiet...has gone on far too long.
Fold your hands if need be
Stop stringing us along!
And while your at it stop asking for new members.
It's called robbery.

Just A Bowl Of Cherries?

2008-06-25

2008-06-18
For me this is wonderful!
We all ask this question if we are smart enough.
Sadly many people wont or are not afforded such luxury.
The fact we ask guarantees a form of happiness.
imho only ;)

Do You See My Love Tremble by M.A.Meddings

2008-06-11
thanks for comments wee2souls.
In response I will explain myself.

I have no interest about your life really.
In all honesty
Nor you in me...

For me poetbay is a place where I share my work.
Maybe I could be considered harsh but Im old enough to know each and every one of us here that is breathing has a history.
What else would we draw on that enables us to write?
I ask the question though are we poets or are we fan clubs?

I would be very happy to see a Mr Meddings place on the bay.
I always enjoyed his work.

What i do object to is for his loss to be paraded.
I understand the need for comfort but in my humble opinion this is best done in private messaging.

I do have concerns also if it his family's wish to have his words used right now.

I ask these questions most respectfully.

And am interested in any responses.
I do not respond to tirades though.

Linda

Do You See My Love Tremble by M.A.Meddings

2008-06-10
Im sorry but I find the posting of this work worrying.
We have been told that Mr Meddings has expired.
Surely it is only decent to wait until his estate and subsequent copywrite issues are established in law before his work is brought forward in this way.
