Serenity

Sweet song of the robin carries on the breeze,
blowing, singing on the inside and out of me.
Colors of the rainbow flutters through the sky,
smiles and laughter, as we look upon the butterfly.
God's painting lays before us beautiful and serene,
souls worry too much about what it all does mean.
Children running and playing in the cool grass,
words of happiness, what more could you ask?
A spread is lovingly laid on the warming ground,
food and smells, those of Heaven can be found.
Then, on a warm Summer's night I stare at the stars,
enlightening and wonderous, I feel free of my scares.

I took in a big breath hoping to smell the freshness of this most delightful poem. Serenity, indeed. Lovely!

Such a beautiful serene picture you paint here in words. A pleasure to read.
