It certainly makes sense to me, my husband was deliberately watering the lawn and garden yesterday, it was a lovely warm day here in the U.K. because he knew it was going to rain and was explaining to visiting daughter that it was necessary so the rain would penetrate and not just run off/sit on the surface. If I was writing a gardening book this could be on the front cover! Love it.
