Why must we kill in order to survive
To fulfil our hunger, which are endless to satisfy
Live to serve the karma of past incarnation
In this nature God forgot to us all mention

That life exist to suffer in all the things the world have to offer

Chorus:
Everything exist to cease
By the hands of time through eternity
Impermanent in our being
Follow the darkness of tomorrow in which no one can control
Reborn and bound to start a new
In new body and new point of view
Discard desire to be free
From this cycle of misery

Are we all angels fallen from above
To remind each other of the meaning and truth of love
Instead we fight for power and greed for territory
What was once a unity are now opposing destinies

Yes this is written as lyrics.

Any kind of poem can easily be translated into music. Especially when it have ABAB rhyme structure or similar.
Keep on writing what is in your heart, because it won’t get more pure than that.

I admit that this is the first time I have read one of your works, I think. Was this really written as lyrics? For many people it would be thought provoking, but bravo for writing it. Keep it up.

You commented upon my poem about old age, when I was young what started me on the road of writing poetry was a desire to write a poem that sounded like music. I have a folder of the very early ones with titles using words like 'Sonata'. I don't think I have ever succeeded... perhaps in the next incarnation.
