I'm devastated that I will never hear from you again

I feel cheated that you're no longer here with us...

I wasn't ready for this, we never are, are we?

I so wish you were still here ; I love you so much!

Thank you, my friend, for your kindness

Thank you for making me feel I mattered

Thank you for always being straight with me

Thank you for your guidance through my hell

Over the last near twenty years, you were there,

You cared and took the time for me even when

Most would just politely or not distance themselves... 

You were always honest, I could trust what you said

Through the years, you were a positive light in my life

I'm beyond sad that I'm now forced to live it as a memory
