RAINY DAY BY ANN WOOD

Today it is raining again, and it is cold.
A lonely pair of birds sing in the distance.
Apparently, they could not fly south, where it is warm.
A sparrow has landed on the window, waiting for me to give it some bread crumbs.
I get up and go to the kitchen and take a few pieces of bread and crumble them.
Then I leave them on the window, and watch the hungry sparrow take a piece of the bread.
And outside it is raining, it has been raining for the third day.
