As citizens of the Universe

We descry these heavy-handed tactics

Crass indoctrination diadactic

We abhor the awful bore the opaque transparent fake

Plastic lore the weighted scales, poison icing let them eat cake

Manufactured disaster rehearse

Events designed to undermine personal autonomy

We accept and reject an unnatural dichotomy

All the hooray and the hoopla coupled with iron and chains

Who gets to stay who is taken away leaving remains

Grave as graves dressed up to appear as electronic liberation

Who could have guessed nothing to fear not who we are as a nation

Gears stripped going forward in reverse

The better exchanging for the worse

Catch-words and phrases incremental phases

We live in the moment that this erases

As citizens of the Universe
