addedum to 'evening'

marketa lets it be known

that poems about walks in the park

have become tiresome

her frustration is understandable

how many times

can the same story be told

i want to be nuanced, not boring

not predictable, but those

are qualities that define my life as of now

silently, i defend myself, the poems

are true, perhaps relatable

the journey, the experience, the coming home

‘where my love lies waitin' silently for me’

i suspect there will be more such poems

I want to comment on this.

There is an aura or feel that emotes beyond the individual words, this serves to compose a sense of being in a kind of meditative space where dreamers live alternate existences.

I can envisage reading more of them too. I think, to the poet, a subject can be like a 3D model that may be viewed from any of 360 degree angles: and by using a different filter each time hopefully making each a new experience to the reader. It's done when the subject is a dried up prune having had every ounce of juice extracted? Dare I add: Poetry is NOT a walk in the park! :o) Blessings, Allen
