Rick remembers how she used to look. It was a brief affair.
Met on the Shanghai Ferry
Rik remembers:
She looked across
the room at him.
Sat on the floor
her legs appearing
from beneath her dress -
long and slim
and so appealing -
but between her lips
an innocent plump
freshly picked
red, red strawberry,
offered for him
to share, with a kiss.
When his lips
encircled her gift
the world was gone
there was nothing
else in existence.
The strawberry.
The kiss.
The Chinese miss.
Exotic bliss.
Fondly Rick remembers.
