Today, September 22nd, the Bulgarian people celebrate our nation's liberation.Happy Liberation Day, dear brothers and sisters.
Let us keep our homeland pure and peaceful, and build a future for our children.
Our beloved motherland endured many long years of servitude and foreign rule.
Bulgaria is the most beautiful country in the world, renowned for its fragrant Kazanlak roses, great athletes, singers and artists, doctors, engineers, architects, scientists, and many other professionals.
Bulgarian folk music, cuisine, and culture are famous throughout the world.
Bulgaria once spanned three seas and is the homeland of many famous Bulgarians, such as Levski, Botev, Vaptsarov, Georgi Dimitrov, Stoyanka Mutafova, Lyudmila Zhivkova and Todor Zhivkov, and many others.
It is the birthplace of yogurt and the first computer, and home to great footballers like Gundi, Hristo Stoichkov, Berbatov, Sirakov, and many others.
Bulgaria boasts a rich culture and many traditions, fertile lands, mineral springs, and magnificent nature, offering both winter and seaside resorts.
In winter, you can ski at Bansko, Borovets, or Pamporovo, while in summer, you can head to the seaside in sunny Varna, Burgas, Pomorie, Albena, Obzor, or Sunny Beach.
If you enjoy rural tourism or sites with historical significance, Bulgaria is full of such places. ...such as the Rila, Bachkovo, and Dryanovo monasteries; Rupite (the birthplace of Baba Vanga); Balchik with its botanical gardens; Shipka; Buzludzha; the Madara Rider; the Seven Rila Lakes; and many other places for recreation and tourism.
If you enjoy good food, Bulgarian cuisine offers a wide variety of dishes, salads, desserts, and grilled specialties—including fish, meat, and vegetable dishes, *banitsa* (cheese pastry), various types of bread, wines, *rakia*, and beer.
Bulgarian folk costumes vary by region, yet all feature exquisite, colorful traditional embroidery.
Bulgaria, my dear homeland, you have endowed me with strength and a love for our country and people; I would die for you if necessary, to protect and defend you.
Being a Bulgarian woman is a source of pride for me; I love, cherish, and hold my homeland, Bulgaria, dear to my heart.
I bow low with deep respect and gratitude, Bulgaria, for your very existence.
Long live freedom and our dear homeland, Bulgaria.
