One Lazy Day in May
It's a beautiful spring dayLittle birds are chirpin'
I'm just sittin' around, bein' lazy
It's my day off, I'm not workin'
I'm just swingin' back and forth
Mr. Bumblebee's buzzin' about
He's flyin' to and fro
And I'm watchin' 'cause
I've got nowhere I gotta go
I'm just swingin' back and forth
Butterflies are droppin' in
And I say howdy hey
How are you doing, friend
On this beautiful Spring day
I'm just swingin' back and forth
Layin' back, I'm relaxin'
Starin' up at the sky
Not a care in the world
Watchin' the clouds rollin' by
I'm just swingin' back and forth
A light breeze is rustlin' the trees
And the flowers smell like May
Ain't nothin' that can go wrong
Everything's goin' my way
I'm just swingin' back and forth
