The Storyteller (Sonnet)

He's perfected his craft over the years
Without hopes of gaining fame nor wealth
Shared his many tales of laughter and tears
Though none will collect dust on a shelf

The words inside will be read many times
And treasured for generations to come
He has touched a heart with every line
And left them wanting more when it was done

A new story With each stoke of the pen
When one is finished another unfolds
Captivating from beginning to end
They will not be forgotten once they're told

Though he may disapear or fade away
His words live on forever and a day

Very nice indeed to see a worthy Shakespearean sonnet; and a cool idea too: a sonnet devoted to the sonneteer!
Do note that line 9 should have "with" and line 13, "disappear." Enjoyed this poem!
