The purification of tears in loss

Sometimes Stars

sometimes cold tears
are welcomed by warm cheeks
with relief:

washing away kisses
-- still staining skin --
of a smile long gone

tilted
the face now may be caressed
once again
by faithful Sun

Ah! Divine Whisper
dissolving stippling
of scars:

stringing stars to Star

the poem reads like the whisper of wind in the ears. A good poem with a sense of form and rhythm.

tenderness in the words... an experience we all live, so it reaches me deeply... i like the imagery all throughout... but the one that sticks to me the most is the last line... "stringing stars to Star" - beautiful, i truly lack better words to express it... thanks for sharing this... sorrowful as it brings me through the steps of mourning but with a ray of the sun's light... as is the purification process with time :f

later... xx

with every passing we mourn there waits the future, filled with promise - to lift the spirit high once more, to shine with laughter and life. yes, warm relief welcomes the shedding of old ways.

very nice to see a another poem here by dear you. :)
