A good friend
A good friend knows youKnows when you're felling low
When you need a hand
A good friend believes in you
Is always on your side when times get rough
Is there when you need them
A good friend trusts you with secrets
Protects your own
And lies to keep you safe
A good friend can read how you're feeling
Knows exactly what to say
And when to say it
A good friend will put you in your place
When you're stepping out of line
And will have your back all the time
A good friend won't ditch you
Won't sell you out
Won't leave you high and dry
A good friend expects the same from you
The same they give you
The same we need in life
Can you really say that you are a good friend?
