What is love?

It can move you physically
Cause you pain, excite you
Or reduce you to tears of happiness or sadness
Like an ethreal spirit
It can sometimes be seen, but never touched
Felt, but never held
Whispered can fall about your ears
Like petals on the winds of time
To form a bed of roses
Or leave the bitter taste of brine
Unrequited love ?
It burns without compassion
It sears the heart
And clouds the mind
In thoughts that crave reaction
They say its better to have loved and lost
Then never loved at all
Tell that to someone, who's lost his love
And count the tears that fall.

If love were the tear drops of the soul
Encompass mine and make me whole.

Every word, and every letter is very true. Only one phrase you have the wrong way round....

"You can hold, but not touch" - I'm not sure if it is "You can touch but not hold"...
